As well as a number of other locations within the boat show in 2005 one of our players was used for a special evening event held at the Fox@Waterside pub that is built inside the boat show.

The event was a 'quiz night' with a number of teams, a celebrity host and a range of questions - many requiring sound, video and still images to be displayed on the 3 40" plasma screens placed along the front of the pub.

A media player from IdeasAnvil was used and was controlled in 'real-time' mode so that all the required clips could be played out at the right moment - generally on a cue from the quiz host. The smooth transitions between clips and media provided for a 'TV like' appearance which had been asked for by the organisers and the real-time control allowed for on-cue changes to be made as required.
