Working with a number of companies we have been involved with developing, operating and maintaining multimedia installations across a range of locations. Some simple installations have been single video playback servers attached to one or two display devices. Other installations have comprised multiple video server systems with terestrial video sources as well as sound controllers and a range of distributed screens.
For a number of clients we provide a management service for their remote media networks. This involves maintaining the player systems via remote links - typically ADSL lines, but also ISDN, cable and in rare occasions dial-up. When required we also do site visits to update and maintain systems.
For other clients we have provided integration software that acts as a front end for their existing video systems - providing them with improved management facilities and easing the job of scheduling content, verifying playback to their fee-paying customers and transferring content to the remote systems.
